China to Qatar DDP Air Freight Case: Urgent Floral Wire Delivery Completed Successfully During Chinese Holidays

Client Requirement & Initial Quotation

Hannah, a client from Qatar, discovered Anyi International Freight Forwarding on Facebook and reached out to us for shipping floral wire and floral supplies. Since she needed the items urgently, she requested an air freight quotation. As a professional Qatar DDP freight forwarder, we quickly offered her a cost-effective air freight plan with moderate transit time.

To prevent miscommunication between overseas buyers and Chinese manufacturers, we kindly told Hannah that we could connect with the factory directly on her behalf, which helps avoid errors caused by cross-border communication.

Shipping Challenge: Unproduced Goods + Chinese Holiday Schedule

Quotation arrangement for unfinished goods

After we got in touch with the supplier, we learned that the floral supplies had not yet been produced. Only estimated dimensions and weight could be provided at that moment. Right away, we updated Hannah about this situation. She agreed to an estimated weight DDP quotation for goods not ready, and we settled that the final freight cost would be recalculated according to the actual weight once production was finished.

Time risk brought by the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday

The factory quoted a production cycle of roughly 10 days. If we stuck to the original timeline, cargo delivery would overlap with China’s Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, a high-risk period that often causes shipping delays. To achieve holiday rush air delivery to Qatar, our team communicated closely with the factory and applied for priority production. Thanks to the joint effort, the goods were sent into our warehouse before the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the shipment departed before China’s National Day holiday.

Full Tracking & On-time Delivery

We kept Hannah informed at every logistics step throughout the whole shipment. This door to door air freight China to Qatar service covers export customs declaration, air transportation, Qatar import clearance, duty payment and local last-mile delivery.

After the tracking status showed the parcel was signed for, we confirmed receipt with Hannah. She was thrilled to receive her floral wire on schedule and could start using these floral supplies for her garden. We sent our best wishes to her lovely garden.
